Itinerary 

Day 1 - Arrival Day.

Personal welcome at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to your hotel in the tourist district of Thamel. After a short briefing on our trip plans you will be able to go out to explore the local temples and markets. Overnight in Hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu.

Day 2 - Kathmandu City Tour.

After breakfast we will tour the city, visiting many of the “Valley of Temples” World Heritage sites including Swayambhunath, Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, and the stunning Boudhanath Stupa. Overnight at Hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu.

Day 3 - Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park.

Over the moring we have a 5 to 6 hour drive through the hill county and river valleys of Nepal to the tropical Terai Plains and Chitwan National Park. Overnight at Resort. 

Day 4 - Chitwan National Park Safari.

Full Day Safari including 4WD trip into the National Park to see Rhinos, Crocodiles, monkeys, deer, thousands of birds and if you’re really lucky a Tiger or Leopard! Overnight at Resort

Day 5 - Drive to Lumbini.

After a jungle walk or canoe trip in Chitwan we will drive across Nepals breadbasket through the rice paddies and wheat fields to one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in the world at Lumbini. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 6 - Lumbini to Tansen.

In the morning we will visit the 2500 year old Maya Devi Temple of Lumbini that marks the birthplace of Buddha. We will also see the sacred pond, the beautiful Bodhi Tree and the Peace Pagoda. From Lumbini we will drive to the hilltop town of Tansen stopping at the RaniMahal palace along the way. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 7 - Tansen to Pokhara.

In Tansen we will visit the Shree Amar Narayan Temple before driving to the lakeside city of Pokhara. Enjoy the evening having dinner with sunset over Phewa Lake before returning to your lakeside Hotel for the night. 

Day 8 - Pokhara Sightseeing Day.

First thing in the morning we will drive up the top of Saragkot peak for the spectacular sunrise over the Himalaya mountains before having the option to walk back down to the lakeside. In the afternoon we will row across the lake and walk up to the World Peace Pagoda. On our return boat trip we will stop at the Island temple of Tal Bahari before returning to Lakeside for the evening. Overnight at Lakeside Hotel.

Day 9 - Drive to Nagarkot

Today we have a 7 hour drive back to Kathmandu and up to the hilltop village of Nagarkot what you can set the sunset over Kathmandu City and the Himalayas. Overnight at hotel in Nagarkot.

Day 10 - Tour of Bhaktapur & Patan Cities

Today we will have a 3 hour walk down through the the countryside and villages to the beautiful Changunarayan Temple.  From here we will drive to the ancient city of Bhaktapur where we will explore the Durbar Square, sacred pond and temples before travelling to the third ancient city of the Kathmandu Valley, Patan. In Patan we will have a traditional Newari lunch, explore the Durbar Square and the many old temples that litter this ancient city centre before returning to the tourist district of Thamel for the night. Overnight at Hotel in Thamel.

Day 11 - Everest Scenic Flight

On eour last day we have saved the for you the final World Heritage Site of Sagamartha National Park and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Mount Everest. iEarly in the morning you will take the hour long Everest Scenic Flight that flies along the Himalaya range, past numerous stunning peak to reach Mount Everest before looping around and returning back past all the mountains and returning to Kathmandu. 

We will have the afternoon free so you can cloose to relax at one of the delightful cafes of look for souvenirs in the busy Thamel markets, its up to you.

We will cap off our World Heritage Tour of Nepal in the evening with a farewell dinner and dancing at a traditional Nepali restaurant. Overnight in Hotel. 

Day 12 - Departure Day

Transfer to Kathmandu Airport.
